Other Writings
- Data Mining project for CSI5387 -- My final project for this data mining course compared and classified several commonly-seen types of JavaScript code: ads and menus. The results may be interesting to those interested in web security, as classification occurs in odd ways.
- Meet Mr. Compiler! -- A funny look at learning to program, inspired by the many problems my first year students have with the java compiler. I just wrote this to vent my frustration over how bad the compiler can be. I thought I should stop when I got to the part about 3.5 legged chipmunks.
- Man RTFM -- There's not much point in telling people to RTFM if they don't know what it means or don't know how. This short doc is intended to help.
- How Human Factors affects Security -- I wrote this essay for a security class a while ago. It's not perfect, but it's not a bad place to start if you want some information and references. Also available in PDF format.
